One of my favorite expressions and a guiding principle in my work: Bump the lamp. It comes from the legendary animation team that worked on the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
The idea is that it's always worth it to go the extra mile. And in fact, it's often the smallest of details that make something memorable, even if the audience doesn't consciously notice.
From dance films, to working with start ups, to video journalism, striving to 'bump the lamp' on every project I work on ensures I'm always pushing myself to be the best artist & storyteller I can be.
